Lindley Maglio, Founder
Throughout her career, Lindley has worked across all facets of Human Resources, in industries such as retail, beauty, fashion, CPG and professional services. Beginning her career as a recruiter, Lindley quickly learned the people side of the role, excelling at identifying the right talent from both a skillset and cultural perspective. From there, she created and led Training & Development programs designed to improve the performance of in-house talent. Leveraging her knowledge of talent acquistion and development, Lindley took on various HR leadership roles, overseeing all aspects of the HR function at established Fortune 500 companies like L'Oreal, as well as high-growth companies like Thom Browne. Prior to launching The HR Strategists, Lindley held the role of Chief People Officer at global public/investor relations firm ICR for the last four years.
In all of her leadership roles, Lindley has been a strategic advisor to the c-suite and company boards, as well as an executive coach to individual leaders (she is a certified executive coach through The International Coaching Federation). Additionally, Lindley has been a key member of the executive team in three successful exits - Balenciaga's minority investment in Alexander Wang, Ermenegildo Zegna's $500MM acquisition of Thom Browne, and private equity fund CDPQ's stake in ICR. Lindley was brought into each organization with a focus on upgrading the company's talent and streamlining the operational model in order to maximize the value of each exit for the shareholders.
